Piedmont Park is an urban park in Atlanta, Georgia, located about 1 mile northeast of Downtown, between the Midtown and Virginia Highland neighborhoods. Originally the land was owned by Dr. Benjamin Walker, who used it as his out-of-town gentleman’s farm and residence.
I always love going to Piedmont Park. There’s playgrounds, a dog park, and loads of space to do whatever you want. Set up a hammock and take a nap. Have a picnic. Grab a bite and a beer at one of the adjacent restaurants. All while taking in delightful views of the midtown skyline!
